Ann is an Olympic Trials Marathoner who ran collegiately for U. of Notre Dame and has her Ph.D. in English from the University of Virginia. She is the founder of both Runners Love Yoga and Relay Active. Ann has been teaching yoga since 2009; she initially came to yoga to help with her IT band tightness during track season in college, and has ever since used her yoga practice as a means of staying healthier through increased strength, mobility, and body awareness--and become both happier and faster as a result too. She has taught thousands of yoga classes, and loves to help other runners to feel strong, stay injury free, and to be able to do the sport that they love. She enjoys designing creative, fun yoga sequencing for a practice that you will look forward to whether you do yoga after a weekend long run or during a weekday recovery session.
